Whatever Happened To The Snowdens Of Yesteryear?

Go read the latest polemic from Albert Gore, Jr. on TPMCafe. Here's my favorite paragraph, but you're welcome to find your own.
Campaign finance reform, however well it is drafted, often misses the main point: so long as the only means of engaging in political dialogue is through purchasing expensive television advertising, money will continue by one means or another to dominate American politics. And ideas will no longer mediate between wealth and power.

I wish Gore had been this good when he was the candidate in 2000.

And no, don't try to hand me any crap about how if it wasn't for Nader, then Gore would have won Florida and Bush would have never been installed in the White House. While that's a true statement, it's irrelevant. The Albert Gore you see today is not the Albert Gore that we would have gotten if he had won that election. So all you pinheads who still can't forgive the Greens for the Y2K Presidential election, you can blow me.
